Warnings: The original story "Next of Kin" took place one month after the movie. That one was a long, winding tale that started out as a romance novel and eventually picked up Big Damn Plot elements. Many readers wanted to know what happened next. But with a cast of characters so large, it's hard to answer the questions neatly. But that's all right. One story at a time. This story takes place about three months after "Next of Kin."
