Title: Insanity Plea
Summary: Takes place sometime during the series. Written for the summer of mal content. Mal thinks on all the ways Inara makes him crazy.



Gorram woman…she wanders ‘round my ship-my ship!- wearin’ these clothes that…She’s got this place where her neck curves into her shoulder…jus’ beggin’ for a man to nibble on it. She pins her hair up and exposes all that skin…all the way to her collarbone.

It’s even worse when she leaves her hair down. Dark curls just made for a man to dig his fingers in. Man could get lost in hair like that. She leaves all that hair down coverin’ the curve of her neck and her collarbone…only one place left to look.

Her mouth. Gorram woman and the things she does with her mouth. When she’s concentratin’ she sticks the tip of her tongue between her teeth and…uhm…yeah. Then when she’s unsure ‘bout somethin’ she bites down on her lower lip and pulls it through her teeth…suoyou de dou shidang…it’s all I can do to keep from…

And those eyes of hers, way she looks at me sometimes…Been through Hell…more’n once. Go through Hell again to have her lookin’ at me like that all naked and…

And she wears all these long dresses. You’d think it’d be better than some of the short things women trounce ‘bout in. But they’ve got these slits in the skirt, designed to let a man see just enough of her legs to drive him crazy.

Then the way everything shows off her…Don’t got time to talk ‘bout all the ways ‘Nara drives me to drink. I got captainy things to do.
