It's nice. Mal was captured well enough, with him having (yet another) hard time with his emotions. I like how Simon was taking a stance and Mal dealt with it with sex. It seems like that would be his initial reaction, as a way of dealing with Simon being hurt and not wanting it anymore. I'm glad he came out to Zoe (and the others eventually) in the end.
Great fic! Nice characterization of Mal--he would be the one scared to deal with his emotions. Loved him telling Zoe at the end--very captain like. Hope you write more M/S
