Date: 2006-03-31 08:23 pm (UTC)Excellent, *excellent* portrayal of Zoe. I loved it to bits, and I'd have to say this is the best portrayal of her I've ever read. It's totally believable, too - absolutely dark, heartbreaking, with a slight ray of hope stuck in the middle. I loved how you moved back and forth within the story as well, between the past and present.
Please, please - write more. Sequel, if possible, but the story really doesn't need one. It's a complete piece in itself and resolves what Zoe's going through in her heart...which is really what the story's about.
