Author’s Notes: I’ve been wanting to write Operative fic for a while because he’s awesome. Well not awesome so much as freaky, but I thought he was a cool character in a really weird, scary way. Plus, I’ve been playing around with this connection for a while and I think I finally got it to work. The title comes from the poem “Death Be Not Proud” by John Donne.
