Author's Note: When I saw the movie, I was struck by how different it looked and felt from the warm, almost family feel of the TV show. Understandable, of course, but I found it jarring having just seen the series. This little one-scene fic was my attempt to bridge that divide from the feel of the series to the feel of the movie. It's meant to be inserted at the beginning, with the rest of the film unchanged.
