I have made every effort to allow either type of reader to follow the story and get introduced to the characters regardless of prior knowledge. As mentioned above, this is a sequel to Leave of Absence and picks up immediately where that one left off, so if you haven't read it yet (or even if you haven't read it recently) I recommend you start there, or this will make no sense at all. For the perceptive among you who have noticed it's been almost exactly a year since I posted part one, please don't worry. Parts three and four are within two scenes of being done, so they should be out within the next couple of days. Some encouraging comments could potentially shorten that, though. *g*
