What’s my fear? Wo de ma...he ta de fung--quang de wai sheng dou, are you serious? You don’t ask the easy questions, do you? Well, there’s Zoe when she’s angry. Oh, don’t make the warrior woman get mad or you’re a dead man! No, it’s not that, since I learned what not to do around her...on our wedding night, no less. Ouch.
I know, I know--I’m simply stalling the question. Can’t put anything past you, can I? Do ya think it might be setting people on fire in the kitchen? Because that’s a very, very bad thing. It leads to Zoe locking you in a room with her so you can have a discussion on what not to mix with grease. The discussions lead to very, very good things.
All right! My greatest fear would probably be connected to this whole flying thing. Zigging when I should have zagged. If I do that, this whole ship could end up crashing into a star--crashing into a ship of Reavers. Or I could get us caught by the Alliance if I was a few seconds too slow. You name the bad thing, I’ve probably thought of it.
"That's right, of course. Because they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded. I'm just the pilot. I could always say that I was flying the ship by accident."
If I failed to keep everyone safe, because of a stupid mistake I made, I would feel the guilt till the end of my days. I would be begging to be arrested if Zoe were killed.
(Chinese translation: Holy mother of God and all her crazy nephews.)
