Marlena possessed by the devil is what got me watching soaps! I was like, 8 and I just thought, "This is the funniest thing I 've ever seen!"
I watch CBS soaps now, but the panther was actually inspired by something I heard about from Days of Our Lives a few years ago. The "Salem Stalker" killed someone by letting a panther out of its cage.
