Inara smoothes the dark blue suit over his shoulders and Kaylee leans back, admiring the view.

"Why Jayne Cobb. You look damn fine in that suit," Kaylee grins.

Jayne gives her a small, pleased smile and a warning look. He's not much for compliments.

"You can dress up a monkey all you like but it's still a monkey."

Jayne narrows his eyes but Simon is smiling as he fiddles with something small.

"Give me your arm."

"Why, you gonna sedate me again?" Jayne growls.

"Only if you're going to get hysterical. I can't tell you how many hysterical brides I've sedated."
