Chapter 2: The First Month

Spoilers: None for the movie. Just the series.
Timeline: During “Our Mrs. Reynolds”
Summary: What if Mal had been drunker than he thought during “Our Mrs. Reynolds.”
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters, or the ship Serenity. They all belong to god, also known as Joss Whedon. Oh I don’t own Buffy either. Sadly…
Notes: I really should stop reading interview transcripts. In every interview where Nathan or Summer are asked what’ll happen if there are future movies, they both joke about Captain River and the 3rd movie, and in one Nathan says that by that time he’ll be Summer’s personal assistant and dog walker. And in other, Summer says in the next movie she’ll be the Captain and Nathan says he’ll be the Companion. Why yes I do realize just how Nathan/Summer obsessed I am thank you very much. “Our Mrs. Reynolds” is pretty much the same after that. With just some minor differences.
