Anniversary

3_ships holiday fic exchange for the first time. They just did the big reveal of authors, so now I'm free to re-post my story in my own journal.

voleuse thought she'd be getting. Once I discovered that silk was the present for the 12th anniversary, the story took on a life of its own as I started thinking about where our happy triad (I'm an optimist, I naturally assumed they'd be happy) would be 12 years down the line. I'd had a vague idea floating around in my head for some time now for a story where Simon was a country doctor on a frontier planet and, after being there for some years, was finally starting to fit in, and this ended up being that story. I hope you enjoy it.
