Notes: I don’t know how regional of a thing this is, but in the southern part of the United States where I grew up hunting is taken very seriously, and it’s customary to smear the blood of your first deer across your face. Since I highly doubt that there would have been any deer on whatever backwater Jayne grew up on, I modified things a bit, but tried to stay true to that original culture of hunting. Also, goulash is an awesome word. I’m just sayin’.
( They didn’t get much meat on Serenity. )
