Author's Note: This is a fic I wrote a few months back that's meant to have the same feel as a Firefly episode - quick pace, heavy on the ensemble action adventure. Each of the story's four acts (all included here) end where there should be a commercial break. I'm sharing it on LJ at the suggestion ofrinalin.
