Summary: Mal receives a stern talking-to for the first time since Ma Reynolds (or perhaps the army) and River forgoes her midnight snack for loftier activities. Nina gets a chance to allude to her Systems Engineering seminar!
Excerpt: Simon's eyes were a cold, steely, unforgiving blue; Mal thought oddly that this must have been exactly the same way the boy had regarded his father when he realized he could no longer trust him.
