so i meant to have this up--well yesterday technically as it's way past midnight--but the story kind of got away from me. my original intention was to write the entire thing from a non-biased third party observer... that didn't work so instead i tried matty's pov which turned into jayne's pov which turned into river's pov which turned into a six part drabble series with all three of their povs. yup. anyway this is for rjsteamboat76. i know you asked for river/matty but jayne still worked his way in because i think i may be incapable of writing firefly fic without at least some river/jayne. hope you like it!! ♥
