The idea is the same as with Last Icon Maker. Each week there will be a new challenge posted. Each week people will be eliminated and there will be one fanfic writer left by the end. Anyone is welcome to sign up.

Write a 100 word drabble every week. Every week people are voted off and at the end of the round, there is only one fanfic writer standing.

This first round is the general one, meaning that anything goes, het, slash or gen. Any character. Future rounds will be more character or pairing specific. If you want to watching, feel free, you don't need to be a part of the challenge to vote!

The Losing Side, chapter 38

TITLE: The Losing Side, chapter 38
CHARACTERS: Mal and Wash primarily, with Zoe making important appearances.  More Zoe later in the story.
PAIRINGS: Foreshadowing of future Wash/Zoe
RATING: PG-13 
SUMMARY: Wash has spent the majority of the war in an Alliance POW camp, and when the war ends Mal is sent to the same facility, where they meet.  Most of the story to date takes place in the prison, but eventually they will be released and the story will continue up to the point of Serenity's purchase and the Out of Gas flashback where Zoe meets Wash.  I've tried to keep this story as canon as possible, and remain true to the characters while expanding their backgrounds and adventures.
CURRENT CHAPTER: Ghosts from the past return to haunt Mal when he's brutally attacked by one of the guards in the cafeteria.
